32A Emergency Rotary Isolator Switch IP66/67/69

The GW70436P rotary isolator switch is a 32A, 4 pole enclosed device designed for emergency isolation and general on load switching applications. It is constructed from insulating material to provide double insulation and protection against indirect contact. The unit supports a wide operating temperature range from -25 to 60 °C, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations where environmental conditions may vary. Its enclosure carries an IP66, IP67 and IP69 rating which provides resistance to dust, water jets, immersion and high pressure cleaning environments.

This isolator has a rated insulation voltage of 690V AC and the conditional short circuit current rating is 10kA. These electrical characteristics allow the device to serve as an emergency stop isolator or as a mains isolation point for machinery, HVAC equipment and other fixed installations requiring secure switching under load. The mechanical resistance of the unit is rated at IK08 which provides protection against external impacts in industrial locations. The isolator is supplied in an enclosed version with a red operating knob designed for emergency use. The knob is lockable in the OFF position and can accept up to three padlocks, providing a clear and secure method of isolating equipment for maintenance procedures.
