BG Electrical Nexus Storm 13A Double Switched Socket with Latching Type A RCD, IP66

The BG Electrical WP22ARCD is a weatherproof 13A double socket with a Type A RCD, supplied in an IP66 rated mounting box for outdoor use. The built-in RCD monitors the electrical supply to connected appliances and disconnects the power if an earth current fault is detected.

The socket has a high impact polycarbonate housing and an IP66 rating when the cover is closed. The cover will stay open to allow for easy access to the sockets. It features a latching operation, so the socket returns to its original state when power is restored. The 30mA RCD has a 40ms trip speed.

The socket has eight 20mm knockouts for flexible installation and angled, colour coded terminals with backed out screws for faster wiring. The fast fix design has no separate screws or screw covers and allows 150° rotation. Large opening and closing paddles make the socket easier to operate.

The BG Nexus Storm WP22ARCD is suitable for outdoor areas where a weatherproof 13A double socket with RCD protection is required.
