The EZ9E16MCCU is a 16 way metallic compact consumer unit from Schneider Electric's Easy9 range. Surface mounting, it features a low profile, compact lid, making access easier in restricted spaces, optimised design of the terminal bars and cables, enabling the incomer to be connected on either the left or right hand-side ends of the consumer unit, for added flexibility, and lower DIN rail, which provides additional space for RCBO installation, meaning more flexibility to mount any circuit protection device of your choice in your design. The Easy9 compact consumer unit is built to safely control and distribute electrical energy in residential and commercial installations. Designed with both reliability and protection in mind, it comes equipped with earth and neutral blocks as standard, along with an insulated comb busbar and neutral cable for convenience. The enclosure is manufactured from high-quality CRCA sheet steel with an epoxy powder coating, ensuring durability, safety, and resistance to corrosion. Its protection rating is IP3X when the door is closed and IP2X when the door is open, offering reliable safety in all conditions. In accordance with IEC 62262, the unit provides an IK05 level of impact resistance.
