The GW44001 circular junction box from the Gewiss 44 CE range is a durable and versatile surface mounting enclosure designed to protect electrical connections in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Manufactured from high-quality GWPLAST 75 technopolymer, it offers good resistance to impact, heat and environmental stress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor electrical installations.

With an IP44 rating, this watertight junction box provides reliable protection against dust and water, ensuring internal components remain safe in challenging conditions. Its IK07 impact resistance makes it suitable for areas where mechanical strength is essential, such as workshops, plant rooms and exposed outdoor locations. The plain press-on lid creates a watertight seal, while the side as 4x 23mm diameter cable entries. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including cable junctions, outdoor wiring, garden lighting systems and general power distribution.

This halogen-free junction box, compliant with EN 60754-2, enhances safety by reducing the emission of toxic gases in the event of fire. It is also tested to a glow wire temperature of 650°C and operates reliably within a wide temperature range of -25°C to +60°C, making it suitable for demanding environments.
