The Hager ADC906R is a 6A bi-directional RCBO with a C curve trip characteristic, designed to provide combined overload, short circuit and earth leakage protection in a single compact device. Featuring a single pole and switched neutral configuration, Type A sensitivity and a 30mA tripping current, it offers reliable protection for modern electrical installations where current flow in both directions is required.

Engineered for use in renewable energy applications, the ADC906R is particularly suitable for solar PV systems, battery storage installations and EV vehicle-to-grid (V2G) applications. Its bi-directional design allows current to flow safely in either direction, making it ideal for installations incorporating micro-generation technologies.

The C curve characteristic makes this RCBO well suited to circuits with higher inrush currents, including equipment such as motors, transformers and certain electronic loads, helping to minimise unwanted tripping while maintaining effective protection. Manufactured to comply with BS EN 61009-1 and supporting the requirements of BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2, this compact RCBO delivers high levels of protection while helping to maximise available space within the consumer unit. The device also features a 500mm flying neutral lead for straightforward installation and Type A protection for pulsating DC fault currents commonly found in modern electrical equipment.
