The Unity CV2.1HT from Zehnder Greenwood is a continuously running dMEV fan, also known as decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation. It features a SMART humidity sensor and timer, making it an energy efficient solution for controlling moisture in bathrooms, kitchens and other wet rooms. The intelligent humidity sensor automatically adjusts ventilation levels based on the conditions in the room. Airflow increases only when it is needed, helping to prevent mould, condensation and damp. Unlike traditional extract fans that operate at fixed humidity thresholds, often around 65 percent, the Unity CV2.1HT continuously adapts to its environment. It reacts to meaningful spikes in humidity rather than normal background levels, such as those caused by warm weather or open windows. This ensures the fan runs only when required, reducing unnecessary noise and energy use. Adaptive timer functionality monitors how long a room is in use and applies an overrun period that matches occupancy. Ventilation continues for the right amount of time after use, maintaining effective moisture control while minimising excess noise and power consumption. Once installed, the fan delivers ultra quiet performance, with sound levels as low as 7.9 dB(A) in low speed mode.

Designed as a versatile single unit ventilation solution, the Unity CV2.1HT is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and WCs. It removes the need for large ducting networks and high background ventilation requirements, making it ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects. Commissioning is quick and straightforward. A unique front facing variable airflow control allows simple adjustment using the plus and minus buttons once the fan has been wired and installed. An automatic lock out function prevents tampering with airflow settings after setup.

Its refined and sleek appearance allows this extract fan to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, making it suitable for a wide range of interiors. Rated IPX5 for wall installations and IPX4 for ceiling installations, it is CE and UKCA marked, providing reassurance that it meets current safety standards.
